It takes a whole community.
Youth and Government happens because of the organizations, YMCAs, schools, volunteers and families who open doors for young people.
Thank you

Our hosts
The places that open their doors
- The New York State Senate and Assembly, whose chambers, parlor and hearing rooms host the conference.
- The Albany County Courthouse, home of our judicial program.
- The Connecticut General Assembly, at the State Capitol and the Legislative Office Building.
- The Rhode Island State House and legislative staff.
- Our conference hotels: The Desmond and the Hilton Garden Inn in the Albany area, the Hilton Garden Inn in Nanuet, and the Marriott Hartford/Windsor Airport.
The people
Volunteers and advisors
Teachers, YMCA staff and volunteer advisors coach delegations all year. Collegiate advisors, former delegates and community volunteers staff the conferences. Honorees and longtime volunteers are recognized in our Hall of Fame.
Support students
Help a student take part
Gifts to the scholarship funds help students attend conferences and national programs. During the 90th anniversary, the "9 for 90" and "90 for 90" campaigns raised money for student scholarships, and delegations run their own Y-Campaigns with donation bins and raffles.
